About Maria Laquerre-Diego
Maria LaQuerre-Diego is a licensed marriage and family therapist and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She is the CEO and founder of a play therapy program that supports clinicians working toward Registered Play Therapist certification with the Association for Play Therapy. She also works to address stigma around mental health services through the use of pop culture, has spoken about mental health at El Paso ComiCon, served in leadership roles with the New Mexico Association for Play Therapy and the New Mexico Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, and has provided training to clinicians around the country.
